(Written on a train when journey was delayed)
My child

Why worry, especially about that which you cannot change. You might as well throw water against a rock! Only my mighty power can change the unmoveable. Even then it is not always accomplished in a short period, but may take years to bring about, in just the same way as the wind and rain slowly change the hard and unmoveable stone. I am glad you are learning to sit back and relax when the things around you are frustrating. Even though the train is delayed and it seemed hopeless in getting there on time, you kept going. I like that; It brings pleasure to me. Steadfastness is an attribute of character that I delight in. Didn’t my son exhibit as he moved towards his death on the cross. So keep looking to me and trusting in my grace. I will continue to heal and restore you. You will continually experience my salvation in your life. Don’t worry about the things around you, but set you sight on me and my son,
Your unchanging and unmoveable
Father
