A Great Light

People walking in the darkness, a great light they have seen.
This light shining on the shadows, of death that might have been,
Before the Saviour came.

Grace of God, appearing to men.
Saviour of earth and of heaven the Son.
We praise you; We raise you.
For you gave yourself to us, Jesus redeeming King.

God has spoken to the ages past, through prophets and other ways.
Now at last he spoken to us, through His Son that has appeared,
in the glory of the Lord.

This light shining out to every man, has come now to the world.
This light shining in the darkness, is the true light of mankind,
Lord Jesus, Son of God.
